DESCRIPTION:Bio background: Dave Bernier\n\nDavid is a Strategic Advisor and former COO of Foran Mining Corporation and has been with the company for three years. He assisted the team in publishing its first Feasibility Study which contemplated a 4200tpd Cu/Zn mine in northeast Saskatchewan. Since the publication of the Feasibility Study\, the team has advanced efforts to establish formalized agreements with Indigenous Rightsholder\, receive approval on the Environmental Impact Assessment for the project and begin early works for the project.\n\n\n\nDave's background is mainly in Mine Engineering\, transitioning to operations\, management and senior leadership. Prior to Foran\, Dave was with Pan Am as the Canadian Country Manager managing two active mines\, a processing and tailings facility\, an entire administrative team and an exploration arm. Prior to Pan Am\, he was the General Manager for a major Canadian Mining Contractor. Dave has been in the mining industry for 28 years. \n\n\n\n\n\nBio Background: Jason Linklater\n\nJason Linklater is the Community and Indigenous Engagement Lead for Foran Mining and has been with the company for nearly three years. Jason is a proud member of the Peter Ballantyne Cree Nation\, was raised in Pelican Narrows\, SK and is a fluent Cree speaker. Jason has nearly 20 years of experience working with First Nation communities in the area of health\, education\, governance and community development. Jason's background is in Project Management and Community Relations. He is a graduate from the Saskatchewan Indian Institute of Technologies campus in Prince Albert\, SK.\n\n\n\nIn his role as Community and Indigenous Lead\, he works closely with local communities on engagement\, employment and training\, business development\, community investment and environmental stewardship. Jason is grateful for the opportunity to work with local communities to collaboratively build and maintain positive and meaningful relationships now and into the future.
