SUMMARY:Community Futures Business Networking Luncheon
DESCRIPTION:We are hosting our August networking mixer at the Taste of Asia at 11:45 AM on August 26th.  The Taste of Asia is located in the old Zorba's location at 1401   2nd Avenue West.  There is plenty of parking in the rear if you go west on 15th and turn down an alley adjacent to the Vern's Pizza location and head north half a block.  The restaurant provides a wide selection of Chinese and Western food\, buffet style. \n\nWe are pleased to have Garrett Lawless\, CEO of Transwest Air\, speak to our luncheon group and provide us with some background on himself and the initiatives that Transwest is looking at in our region.  Mr. Lawless served in the RCAF for 22 years as a military pilot with over 5\,000 hours.  Without going into too much detail of Mr. Lawless' career\, it would be best that he provide that to us however\, he has obtained two Master's Degrees from Royal Military College of Canada and Batchelor of Electrical Engineering so he has definitely got the credentials for his position with Transwest Air.\n\nWe are hoping to have a proper head count of those attending this luncheon\, could you please respond back to this e-mail if you are planning on attending.  Remember\, this is a networking luncheon and we ask that you bring some business cards and possibly some brochures on your company.  If you have never been to one of our networking mixers\, give us a try.  There is no membership fee and you are not expected to come out to every mixer.  Hopefully you will make some new connections.
