DESCRIPTION:HOUSEHOLD HAZARDOUS WASTE (HHW)  DAY \n\nSaturday\, October 7\, 2017 - 9:00 a.m. to 3:00 p.m.\n\nOld City Yards (6th Avenue East/10th Street)\n\n*Special thanks for Greenland Waste being the official sponsor of garbage and recycling receptacles for  HHW Day*\nTo ensure residents have an opportunity to safely dispose of their Household Hazardous Waste the City of Prince Albert will be hosting a Household Hazardous Waste Day where residents can bring in their items for free on Saturday October 7\, 2017 from 9 a.m. to 3:00 p.m. at the City Yards (6th Avenue East/10th Street).\n\n\n\nHousehold hazardous waste includes many items that people are storing in their basements\, garages\, kitchens or bathrooms and can include anything from drain cleaner to florescent tubes. Hazardous items are often toxic or flammable which means extra care should be taken when disposing of them.\n\n\n\nItems to be accepted (but not limited to):\n\nAdhesives\, Aerosols\, Automotive Batteries\, Cleaners\, Corrosives\, Fuels\, Mercury Oxidizers\, Poison\, Pharmaceuticals\, Propane Cylinders\, Solvents etc.\nItems not accepted are waste products already covered by existing product stewardship programs:\n\n\n\nElectronics waste   SWEEP (Sask.
