Remembrance Day Services
November 11th is Remembrance Day Service at the Prince Albert Armoury.
Prior to the service, there will be a musical prelude with the Prince Albert City Band.
Prince Albert Highlanders Pipe and Drums Band Parade starts at 10:45am with our Veterans and Colour Parties:
• Royal Canadian Legion Branch No. 2
• Army, Navy and Air Force Veterans Unit 222
• North Saskatchewan Regiment B Coy
• Royal Canadian Mounted Police and PA Police Service
• Corrections Canada and Corrections Saskatchewan
• Prince Albert Fire Department
• Sea, Army and Air Cadets
Comrade Grant Ursaki WO Air (Ret) will be the Master of Ceremony for the event. Father Jim Kaptein and Joanne Beacon will lead the service.
At 11:00 a.m. we will join in two minutes of silence, followed by a gun salute and wreath laying.
It would be advisable to be at the Armoury by 10:15-10:30am
PLEASE JOIN US IN REMEMBRANCE
Buses will arrive at the homes to pick seniors up at the times indicated. They will deliver to the PA Armoury.
Folks who are intending on going should tell their care providers they are interested.
