2015 Saskatchewan Polytechnic Business & Industry Dinner
The partnership between business and industry and Saskatchewan Polytechnic is best reflected by the high demand for Saskatchewan Polytechnic graduates. By working together, this partnership ensures Saskatchewan Polytechnic students receive the education and skills training they need to be job ready; make a contribution to their employers from day one.
Saskatchewan Polytechnic Business and Industry Dinners presented by Graham Group are your opportunity to meet the Saskatchewan Polytechnic students who are going to help your organization grow and prosper. Over the course of the evening, you can network with students enrolled in programs directly related to your operations. This is your opportunity to identify and begin developing relationships with your future employees... your opportunity to begin the increasingly important recruitment process, giving you a head start on your competition.
Almost 1,200 business and industry guests, students and Saskatchewan Polytechnic representatives attended the November 2014 dinner series. Proceeds from the dinners, plus matching funds from the Ministry of Advanced Education, will support approximately $250,000 in scholarships and bursaries for Saskatchewan Polytechnic students in the upcoming academic year.
Keynote speaker: Carolyn CarletonMarried with two small daughters Carolyn decided to further her education by taking the Business and Entrepreneurship Course at the Prince Albert campus in 2004; during her time with (SIAST) Saskatchewan Polytechnic she designed a line of clothing that was available online and in stores across Western Canada.
