Superintendent Nogier has been happily married for over 32 years to his spouse and lifelong companion Lori. His son is currently a professional hockey player in Europe (Kazakhstan) and his daughter is in the 4th and final year of her optometry degree from Waterloo University.

- Inspector Nogier initiated a Drug Awareness Program which provides members with a tool for dealing with Young Offenders who commit drug related offences.
- He was achieved a Certificate in Police Leadership from Dalhousie University, and a Sociology Degree from University of Saskatchewan. WHL & CIS Alumni.
- He was responsible for the implementation of Saskatchewan's first internet Child Exploitation Unit (SK ICE).
- Currently the Chair of the WHL's Players Advisory Council.
- Member of the Nation Police Services - Cybercrime Committee
- Chair - Saskatchewan Association of Chiefs of Police - Cybercrime Committee
- Canadian Association of Chiefs of Police - Drug Advisory Committee
- Formerly an assistant coach with the Saskatoon Contact & Saskatoon Stars - Midget AAA programs. Appearances at two (2) Telus Cups & (2) Esso Cups.
