The Saskatchewan Immigration Strategy was launched in 2009 with a commitment to review the program after five years. Periodic renewal is important to ensure Saskatchewan immigration programs and services remain responsive to the needs of program users.
In order to maximize the impact of the Saskatchewan Immigrant Nominee Program, the Ministry of the Economy will consult with stakeholders to inform future directions of the program with the objective of ensuring responsive processing times, managing program inventory, supporting Saskatchewan’s growth agenda and improving program integrity.
Your feedback on future directions of immigration programming in Saskatchewan is valued by the Ministry of the Economy. A discussion paper is attached for your consideration.
