Information Session
The Government of Canada has recently made changes to the Temporary Foreign Worker (TFW) program, including who will be eligible for Labour Market Impact Assessments (LMIA).
Join the CECS (Conseil économique et coopératif de la Saskatchewan (CECS) at the PA Chamber of Commerce for an in-person information session with an Outreach Officer from Immigration, Refugees, and Citizenship Canada (IRCC) to learn more about what potential impacts these changes will have on your business or organization and explore possible solutions. The information session will be delivered in English followed by a Q & A period. Employers will learn more about:
- Immigration Overview
- Francophone Mobility program and work permit applications
- Destination Canada Mobility Forum: Recruitment and retention of skilled workers
- Available resources to help employers find French-speaking and bilingual skilled workers
This session is ideal for employers and businesses who:
• Currently have an employee on a work permit (LMIA or exempt)
or
• Are interested in hiring qualified foreign national candidates in Canada or overseas
