The Prince Albert Raiders, in conjunction with the Kinsmen Club of Prince Albert and The Jim Pattison Broadcast Group, are proud to announce Hockey Hall of Famer Paul Coffey as the featured guest speaker for the Eighth Annual Kinsmen Sportsman Dinner, November 7th.
Inducted into the Hockey Hall of Fame in 2004, Coffey is one of the most decorated hockey players of all-time.
The smooth-skating defenceman collected 396 goals and 1,135 assists for 1,531 points in 1,409 regular season games during his 21-year National Hockey League career. Coffey was named to either the First or Second All-Star Team eight times and as the Norris Trophy winner on three occasions. Coffey ranks second all-time among NHL defencemen in career goals, assists, and points.
Coffey will be in attendance at the Prince Albert Raiders game on Friday, November 6 as they host the Red Deer Rebels and kick-off the Kinsmen Sportsman Weekend.
This year’s Kinsmen Sportsman Dinner will take place on Saturday, November 7 in the Ches Leach Lounge at the Art Hauser Centre where the Kinsmen Male and Female Athletes of the Year and Sportsman of the Year will be announced.
The evening will include a live and silent auction as well as other games and opportunities for great prizes to be won!
All proceeds raised through this charity fundraiser will benefit the Prince Albert Raiders Education Fund and “Our Community’s Greatest Needs” as per the mantra of the Kinsmen Club of Prince Albert.
The call for nominations for Kinsmen Male and Female Athletes of the Year and Sportsman of the Year began September 8 and continues.
Tickets for the Eighth Annual Kinsmen Sportsman Dinner are now on sale and can be purchased at both the Raider Office at the Art Hauser Centre and the Kinsmen Club of Prince Albert.
