This month our guest is Bill Powalinsky from the Community Service Centre.
Having worked in a volunteer and professional capacity since 1969, Bill Powalinsky has promoted the full participation of person’s with disabilities in all aspects of society. From coaching at the National level for Special Olympics to creating an innovative Log Home Building project, to being a professional employment consultant to being a professional advocate, Bill has supported the employment and engagement of people with disability. In his current role as CEO of the Prince Albert and District Community Service he provides oversight for the Prince Albert Supported Employment program (PASE). PASE has been in existence since 2002 and has assisted hundreds of people with disability meet their employment goals. The Community Service Centre has recently created an award program for employers who have participated in supported employment initiatives.
