PA@5 Wayne Nogier - Mont St. Joseph's
Join us to meet Wayne Nogier, the new CEO at Mont St Joseph Home.
Wayne brings history in leadership and organizational development with 27 years of progressive experience in unionized, multi unionized and non-unionized environments in both the private and public sectors.
In the last 10 years, that work has afforded Wayne an extensive background in Long Term Care corporate development across multiple Government Ministries where he played key a role initiating local level change, participating in larger working teams spearheading initiatives like: Model Home (from the Emergency Action Fund) and Purposeful Interactions for special care homes .
Wayne's experience in Senior Leadership in Health initiated in 2003 as the Regional Director of Emergency and Northern Based Community Services where he provided oversight and direction to two Northern Based Primary Care clinics, two Board-Owned EMS services and the oversight of nine contracted NGO’s (contract EMS agencies). During this period he also held responsibility for emergency planning and mitigation for the North-East part of Saskatchewan.
In 2006, as the Provincial Chair to the EMS working group, Wayne made the initial pitch for the study and use of the Nova Scotia based Collaborative Emergency Centre, Paramedic/Nurse based model, which has been adopted today as a desired outcome for communities at risk for physician services.
Wayne and his wife Renee have three children, Kyle, Tyler and Jada, and are actively engaged in community participating through the sporting world. One of Wayne's proudest accomplishments is attaining the status of Master Coach Developer through Hockey Canada.
