Red Cross Pink Day
Red Cross Pink Day & Imagine No Bullying School Tours:
* SaskTel, the Canadian Red cross and the Saskatchewan Roughriders have partnered to create a formidable team to tackle bullying throughout the Province of Saskatchewan.
* In 2014, SaskTel and the Red Cross signed a 3-year sponsorship agreement for the Imagine No Bullying School Tours.
* The Red Cross has been working with the Saskatchewan Roughriders since 2009 to train players to provide Imagine No Bullying presentations to schools across the province.
* This partnership will help the Canadian Red Cross expand its bullying prevention education across Saskatchewan.
* Last year, the Red Cross bullying prevention education program reached over 78,000 youth and adults in Saskatchewan, teaching them how to recognize, prevent and address bullying behaviour.
* The Red Cross has been engaging professional football players to reach students across Saskatchewan since 2009. Last year alone, they reached over 20,000 students and youth.
Red Cross Pink Day
* Presented by RBC, Red Cross Pink Day is happening on Feb. 22, 2017 in hundreds of schools across Saskatchewan.
* Pink Day is a movement to bring awareness to bullying issues to create a safe and respectful environment for everyone.
* Pink Day shirts are available at redcross.ca/PinkSK with all proceeds going directly to supporting the Red Cross bullying prevention program, Beyond the Hurt.

* We all have a responsibility to protect children and youth. Bullying behaviour not only exists in schools, but also in our communities

* Businesses may provide a corporate sponsorship to provide shirts for a school or classroom (Details at redcross.ca/PinkSK)
* All proceeds from these sales are going to support Beyond the Hurt, the Red Cross bullying prevention program
