ROE Web & Special EI Benefits for the Self Employed Workshop
Prince Albert & District Community Futures is hosting a workshop put on by Service Canada.
The workshop will comprise of Record of Employment on the WEB and is designed for small business owners, accountants and bookkeepers and payroll processors. Record of Employment on the Web is an efficient, reliable and convenient way to submit ROE’s. The benefits are:
• Save time and increase productivity
• Increase filing flexibility
• Improve the quality and accuracy of ROE’s
• Reduce paper burden
• Help your employees get quicker employment Insurance payments
The second part of the workshop will be on Employment Insurance – Special Benefits for Self-Employed business owners.
• Service Canada, on behalf of the Government of Canada, is pleased to be able to offer EI special benefits to self-employed business owners.
• Self-employed Canadians can access Employment Insurance (EI) special benefits. There are five types of EI special benefits:
- Maternity benefits
- Parental benefits
- Sickness benefits
- Compassionate care benefits, and
- Benefits for parents of critically ill children
