Tapestrama is Prince Albert’s cultural festival extravaganza, celebrating the various cultures, traditions, and customs of the world. The word "TAPESTRAMA" means a tapestry of Canadian Cultures comprised of dances, music, food, customs and traditions intermingling together. The festival portrays the heritage and culture of the People of Canada. It promotes diversity and understanding. Tapestrama is a very successful annual event hosted by the Prince Albert Multicultural Council, held each year for two days in September. Showcased during the event are cultural dances, music, food and ethnic merchandise. Everyone is welcome to attend and enjoy the festivities.
